#24 – Don’t forget to enjoy your journey! My husband & I pictured here at the VSattui Winery Tasting Room. Napa Valley, California. Summer 2011.
I just have to share this wonderful post from the Positively Positive Blog. Click this link below to see post.
50 Things I Wish I Had Learned Earlier
by Nancy Sathre-Vogel - A mom who rode her bicycle from Alaska to Argentina with her children. 17,300 miles, 15 countries, nearly 3 years.
I love everything thing about this list!
# 27 hits home, “You cannot change what you refuse to confront.”
A challenge is one thing, confrontation is another. I don’t like it. There is only so much I will attempt to confront and for so long. Then I admit, I get tired of it and don’t want to deal with it anymore. I tend to learn to work around issues and convince myself that eventually things will change. I give myself an excuse that I’m just being positive. Not sure if that is always the right thing to do. I also deal with work confrontation differently than personal confrontation. Work, I’ll confront if I feel passionate for the greater good. Personally, I avoid it! I really do.
I’ll be thinking about this one for awhile.
Here’s another one.
#9. There is only one question to ask yourself: “What would you do if you were not afraid?”
This is an exciting question! Another one to really meditate on.
I hope you enjoy this list as much as I do.
Peace & Love,
Kim
