Welcome to Save My Sunshine

Hi! I’m Kim, a wife, mother, friend, amateur photographer, artist, music lover, dog owner, beach dweller, living room dancer, travel junkie, tattoo bearing, serial optimist and with all that, I’m learning to find the joy in the stillness of meditation and loving it! My wish is that you will find this haven to be full of kindness, love & light.

I come from a place of a “young” (married my sweetheart at age 19) empty nester.  I’m a 43 year old proud Mom of a 22 year old son who is actively serving in the USMC and a 19 year old daugher in her second year of college.  I write about my thoughts, things I find interesting, my tribe and our adventures. One more thing, all pictures on this site were taken by me unless otherwise noted. Come back often, as you never know how this will evolve. I am a work in progress and so is this site. Take a look around and stay awhile, I hope you will find a little sunshine while you’re here.
