Inspire Me

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy. They are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. -Marcel Proust
I created this new space on my blog to recognize and feature some of the great blogs, people, courses that have inspired me along with way. In 2009, the Unravelling eCourse helped me to recapture my creative spirit, reconnect with myself and with the world around me. It was the first eCourse I had ever taken and ended up being more impacting than I ever imagined. If you haven't heard about Unravelling eCourse by Susannah Conway, I passionately encourage you to check it out here at Susannah Conway Notes on Unravelling the Heart. I don't really recall how I found this eCourse, but I'm so glad I did! In 2009 I took a leap of faith and signed up.  The assignments were thought provoking and fun. The simple act of "using a camera as a tool to unlock how we see not only ourselves but also the world we live it." worked, I loved it!  The writing courses were spot on and really made me think. I loved everything about this eCourse.  Just so you know this is not a photography course, a camera of any kind will work and a camera phone is just fine.  I was amazed how connected I felt to the other people going through the unraveling process.   The eight-week online course includes:
  • Weekly photo assignments
  • Twice-weekly writing exercises
  • Weekly videos from Susannah (accessible even after the course ends)
  • Group connecting on the private discussion boards
  • A beautiful PDF of the entire course for you to download and refer to again and again
Taking this course helped me to view my world differently and to take the time to really open my eyes and appreciate the world I live in.   Thank you Susannah and to the incredible women I met along the way, you inspire me daily.  Much love & light,  Kim  Pictures taken in Carmel, California.
